Credit Crunch Bites Hard
The credit crunch has decimated UK house prices.

House prices have fallen, on average, by £15,489 since last summer, 2008, when they peaked. They are now falling at their fastest rate for at least 25 years.

What does "Completion" mean?
This is when the buyer becomes the legal owner of the property and can move in. As early as possible on the agreed day, the buyer's solicitor will send the balance of the purchase money to the seller's solicitor. The seller's solicitor will notify the estate agent and the seller when the transaction is complete. Only then should the keys be released to the purchaser. This typically takes place around noon but could be as late as 5pm.
