The land registry have reported that from the month November
2008 to the month February 2009, transactions have averaged 31,315 per month. This being a decrease of over 50% from the same period last year, when sales volumes averaged 75,374! Never mind. Keep smiling, the housing market will pick up again at some point.
Real Recovery?
At agentquote, we noticed a slight increase activity towards the middle of January 2010, but things have since quietened down significantly, and house buyers / sellers that we have spoken with have been very uncertain whether to proceed with their sale / purchase.
