Should I Use An Internet Agent?
Perhaps you've notice that there's an ever increasing number of "Internet" based estate-agents popping up. These are basically agents that don't have a shop front and use the Internet to market their property portfolio. These agents can often heavily undercut local agents, but there are a few important things to look out for... Do they advertise in your local press? Do they put your property onto Rightmove? Can they offer accompanied viewings? If these things are not important to you, then go-ahead and save a packet!

When choosing a selling agent it could be advantageous to select an agent who also manages let properties.

Letting agents have long term buy-to-let property investors permanently on their books who buy regularly from them. They know the agent and they are likely to make quick decisions and reliable offers.

These investment buyers prefer to buy through that agent because it is easy for them to let out their new investment quickly after purchasing your property.

Many tenants also register to buy. Good letting agents build strong relationships with their tenants and are in a good position to help them buy one of their own selling clients’ properties.
