This would probably take about 6 weeks to complete (from instruction to when the property legally changes hands). If the buyer needs a mortgage, this could add a couple of weeks to the process. If the seller is also buying a property, this could add another couple of weeks and perhaps even longer if there is a bigger chain of connected sales. Further time delays could result from missing documentation, slow wigan solicitors and slow buyers and sellers. An average completion time is about 10 weeks.
