The work was done as expected, the solicitor had to deal with a couple of extra jobs, which was the unregistered property and the fact that the other seller had not got grant of probate, and the communication was poor to Jennifer who was working for us, she and her assistant Carla, worked very hard to get answers and was pleased with this aspect of the work. I think having someone working part time should have been explained before we started, but in the end it didnt cause too much bother. We had a small hiccup near completion with getting money in the bank early enough, and I had to transfer a large sum on the day of completion as the redemption figure was wrong, I could have done without that stress, so I think a redemption figure could have been asked for a few days beforehand and as the figure we had was a long way out of date by the time we completed. Jennifer and Carla where both very helpful and friendly and understanding throughout the conveyancing and I would not hesitate to use them again should I be mad enough to move again!!
